Defendants, Kerry Cureaux and Alton Cureaux, were charged by bill of information with the crimes of aggravated burglary, LSA-R.S. 14:60, and armed robbery, LSA-R.S. 14:64. On August 23 to 25, 1983, they were tried by a jury of twelve persons and found guilty of the lesser crimes of simple burglary, LSA-R.S. 14:62, and of simple robbery, LSA-R.S. 14:65.
