The defendant, Kip London, was charged by bill of information with armed robbery in violation of R.S. 14:64. He entered a plea of not guilty, and after a trial by jury the defendant was found guilty as charged. The trial judge sentenced him to serve eight years at hard labor in the custody of the Department of Corrections without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence.
