Plaintiff Ramon Camacho is a seaman who was discharged from service aboard the SS "Cove Trader," a ship owned and operated by defendants. He brought this action in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas, alleging that he had been wrongfully deprived of wages. Defendants, invoking the diversity jurisdiction of the federal courts, 28 U.S.C. § 1332, removed the action to this court under 28 U.S.C. § 1441. Presently...
