Appellant Lonnie Dale Agee was indicted by the Jefferson County Grand Jury for arson in the first degree in violation of § 13A-8-41, Code of Alabama, 1975. The appellant entered a plea of not guilty at his arraignment. On April 18, 1983, the appellant was tried by a jury. The jury returned a verdict of guilty as charged in the indictment and the trial judge subsequently imposed punishment of life imprisonment...
