This matter arises as a result of injuries sustained by plaintiff Ronald Bolfa while he was employed by Louisiana Offshore Caterers, Inc. ("LOC"), as a galley hand working aboard Pool Offshore Company's ("Pool") submersible drill barge No. 924. Bolfa brought suit against LOC and Pool. The plaintiff now moves for summary judgment on the issue of seaman status, and Pool moves for summary judgment on its cross-claim against...
