NEWMAN, Associate Judge:

Head asserts that the trial court erred in dismissing her motion for pendente lite child support for want of jurisdiction. We agree and reverse.

Head and Robinson are the mother and father respectively of a child born out of wedlock on September 9, 1978, in the District of Columbia. From birth until on or about January 15, 1982, the child was in Head's custody; Robinson forcibly removed the child from her custody on or about that date...
