The defendant, United Pacific Insurance Company, the surety on the bid bond attached to Ray Adler, Inc.'s bid on the construction of additions and alterations to the Valley Regional High School in Deep River, appeals from the trial court's judgment for the plaintiff in an action on that bond. The plaintiff claimed that Ray Adler, Inc., the low bidder on the project, failed to enter into a contract at its bid price of $1,910,000, thereby causing the plaintiff...
