On October 18, 1985 the plaintiffs, as owners of a television station which for the past 30 years has broadcasted under the call letters "WBOC-TV," brought this action to enjoin the defendant, as owner of a television station that will begin broadcasting within the next few weeks, from using the call letters "WBOT-TV."
