These consolidated appeals involve the estate of Christina Villarreal, who died January 7, 1973. She was survived by her five minor children: Debra, Abigail and Michael Villarreal, the appellants herein, and their half siblings, Mark and Melissa Glacken.1 Appellants' father, Jorge Villarreal, had died in 1967.
