LEMMON, Justice.
This is the latest in a series of cases involving a postconviction application in which a prisoner, who had entered a guilty plea and been sentenced to life imprisonment prior to the repeal of La.R.S. 15:571.7, claims that his plea was not "intelligently" entered because subsequent statutory and departmental policy changes have had the effect of making parole for "lifers" more difficult to obtain.
