This is an action for copyright infringement under Title 17 of the United States Code. Plaintiff Zambito, an archaeologist-screenwriter, asserts that defendants' movie, "Raiders of the Lost Ark" ("Raiders"), infringes copyrightable material contained in his screenplay, "Black Rainbow" ("Rainbow").
