This case arose out of an accident on March 5, 1979 between a bus owned by New Orleans, Public Service, Inc. (NOPSI) and driven by its employee, Willie Bell, and an automobile owned by Star Chrysler Company (Star), driven by Keith Rush, and insured by Allstate Insurance Company. Plaintiff was a passenger on the bus and was injured in the accident. After trial by jury a verdict of $338,000 was returned against NOPSI and Bell and Rush, Star, and Allstate...
