On June 8, 1984 Dorothy W. Waldrop filed a complaint for divorce against her husband, Russell H. Waldrop, on the ground of incompatibility of temperament. In January 1985 the trial court entered a final decree divorcing the parties. The parties' marital home was ordered sold, with sixty-five percent of the sales proceeds to be paid to the wife and thirty-five percent to the husband upon the sale of the marital home....
