Defendants Raymond Cátala Fonfrías and Eduardo Rodriguez Parrilla were found guilty on June 6 and June 7, 1985, respectively, after a sixteen-day trial on a two-count indictment charging them with violation of Title 18, U.S.C., §§ 241 and 242. After the verdicts were returned and pursuant to the provisions of 18 U.S.C. § 3143(a) the defendants were remitted to the custody of the U.S....
