The defendant, Randy Floyd Elliott, and several codefendants, Michael Wayne Jackson, Calvin Dixon, Jr., John Henry Green, Johnny Ray Curry, and Michael Wayne Tillman, were charged by bill of information with willfully and unlawfully introducing contraband into a penal institution in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:402. The charge against Dixon was dismissed. Jackson, Green, Curry, and Tillman plead guilty to the offense of simple escape, LSA-R.S. 14:110. Defendants...
