Mosiman, was convicted in September, 1981, following a jury trial, of five counts of travel in interstate commerce for purposes of extortion, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1952(a)(3), and one count of intent to extort money by means of a telephone conversation, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 875(b).
