Appellant was convicted by a jury of first-degree murder while armed, D.C.Code §§ 22-2401, -3202 (1981), and possession of a prohibited weapon, D.C.Code § 22-3214(b) (1981). His principal claim on appeal is that the trial court erred in refusing to instruct the jury on the weight to be accorded his oral admissions. He also claims the trial court erred in refusing to strike evidence...
