This appeal arises out of a vehicular collision. On August 22, 1982, Thomas Holtzclaw was involved in an accident with Edward Davis. Shirley Davis, Edward Davis' wife, was a passenger in the Davis vehicle. Holtzclaw, who was intoxicated, was driving a vehicle technically owned by Robert Thompson, Sr., but under the control of Robert Thompson, Jr. (Bobby Thompson). A twelve member jury found that the incident occurred entirely as a result of the negligence...
