This matter comes before the Court on the motion of the plaintiffs, Daniel and Roxanne Lonthier, to remand these consolidated actions to the Thirty-Eighth Judicial District Court in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. The two federal suits began as only one suit in state court. Daniel Lonthier sued his alleged employer's insurers, Northwest Insurance Company and Mid-Continent Underwriters, Inc., under the Jones Act and both Lonthiers...
