On September 26, 1983, Barbara Gaddis, Horace Brown, and Patricia Knight were arrested at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport for smuggling heroin. Gaddis subsequently agreed to cooperate with the government in exchange for pleading guilty to one count of racketeering. Gaddis testified that defendant Eddie Brown, Horace Brown's father, asked her to travel from Dallas through Seattle to Hong Kong in April 1983 with Horace Brown...
