In the instant action the State of Maryland has sued several defendants for alleged violations of the Sherman Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1, and similar state antitrust statutes, Md.Comm.Law Code Ann. § 11-204(a)(1) (1983). The complaint names five defendants but because of mergers between four of the defendants, only three entities are presently before the court. They are: 1) Blue Cross and Blue Shield...
