On November 11, 1983, defendant, Gary Brumfield was charged by bill of information with four (4) counts of armed robbery in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:64. On March 27, 1984, he was tried before a jury and convicted on all four counts as charged. On June 29, 1984, the trial court sentenced defendant to seventy-five (75) years imprisonment at hard labor on each count, to be served concurrently.
