Defendant, Booker T. Bradford, was charged by bill of information with armed robbery, La.R.S. 14:64, and attempted second degree murder, La.R.S. 14:27 and 30.1, in connection with an incident that occurred in December of 1983 at a restaurant in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana.
