Defendant Steve Munzy was charged by bill of information with armed robbery, a violation of La.R.S. 14:64. Defendant pled not guilty and following a trial by jury was found guilty as charged. The trial court sentenced defendant to 25 years imprisonment at hard labor in the custody of the Secretary of the Department of Corrections, without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence.
