William Pinson ("movant") appeals from a judgment denying his motion per Rule 27.261 to vacate his conviction of rape, in the course of which he displayed a deadly weapon in a threatening manner, and his conviction of sodomy, in the course of which he displayed a deadly weapon. The victim of each offense was movant's mother. The offenses, each a class A felony, §§ 566.030.2 and 566.060.2, RSMo 1978,
