Marcos Pardo, Jr., was convicted of two counts of aggravated battery by use of a deadly weapon. He was sentenced to the Board of Correction for an indeterminate period not to exceed fifteen years on each count, the sentences to run concurrently. Applying I.C. § 19-2520, the district judge enhanced Pardo's sentences by one separate five-year term made to run consecutive to the battery sentences.
