STEWART, Justice:

The plaintiffs brought this action for an $18,000 real estate commission claimed to be due from the sale of the defendant's property. The defendant answered that the parties had reached an accord and satisfaction for $5,000, and counterclaimed for breach of contract, conspiracy and fraud.
