In late March, 1984, the District Court of Angelina County, after a show cause hearing, found that a petition bearing the signatures of more than 400 resident voters or electors of the City of Hudson, seeking the disincorporation of the municipal corporation, had been filed with the Mayor of Hudson, Donald E.
