This appeal is from the judgment of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana (Judge Robert F. Collins) in the damages portion of a bifurcated bench trial, holding Wilco Marsh Buggies and Draglines, Inc., et al. (Wilco) liable for damages of $1,113,660.11 for infringement of U.S. Patent No. 3,482,785 ('785 patent). 561 F.Supp. 512, 217 USPQ 1302 (E.D.La.1982).
