CHAPMAN, Circuit Judge:

On January 4, 1985, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland issued an order denying appellant's motion to quash a grand jury subpoena served upon his attorney. The subpoena instructed his attorney to produce certain documents and records regarding fees paid by or on behalf of appellant for his attorney's legal representation of appellant in connection with a narcotics conspiracy case
