NESBITT, Judge.

The state appeals the sentencing of the defendant as a youthful offender. We affirm.

The defendant was fifteen years of age when the criminal incident occurred in October 1982. He was indicted for and found guilty by a jury of armed robbery with a firearm, a first degree felony punishable by imprisonment for a term of years not exceeding life imprisonment. § 812.13(2)(a), Fla.
