This is an appeal from an adverse judgment in a Deceptive Trade Practices action. Blue Island, Inc., brought suit against Ms. Taylor for the unpaid portion of the cost of a spa she purchased. Ms. Taylor counterclaimed for damages caused by Blue Island's acts in violation of the Deceptive Trade Practices—Consumer Protection Act (DTPA), TEX.BUS. & COM.CODE ANN. §§ 17.41-17.63 (Vernon Supp.1985).
