Following a jury trial, appellant was convicted of Robbery, a Class B felony. He was sentenced to sixteen (16) years imprisonment.

The facts are: At approximately 3:00 a.m. on April 6, 1983, Michael Robinson was driving his pickup truck in the vicinity of 6th and Adams in Gary, Indiana, when he observed a man motioning for him to stop.
