Michael W. Hoffman has appealed from a judgment of conviction entered upon his plea of guilty to first degree murder. The appeal presents two questions. First, we are asked to decide whether the district court acted correctly in accepting the guilty plea. Second, we must determine whether the sentence was properly imposed.
