OPINION*
BRYNER, Chief Judge.
Elijah J. Brown was convicted, after a jury trial, of assault in the first degree. AS 11.41.200(a)(1). Superior Court Judge Jay Hodges sentenced Brown to a presumptive term of six years' imprisonment. Brown appeals, contending that the trial court committed plain error in instructing the jury that the defendant bore the burden of proving self-defense.
