Plaintiff Donald Armsey ("Armsey"), a sales representative, brought this action against his employer, The Nestle Company, Inc. ("Nestle"), alleging that his discharge on April 21, 1983 at age 54 violated the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, 29 U.S.C. § 621 et seq. (1982) ("ADEA").
