The trial in this diversity case began on September 27, 1982. On October 12, 1982, this court granted the motion for a directed verdict in favor of Hartford Fire Insurance Co. and William Gutgesell, two of the defendants. The case proceeded against East Coast Salvage Company, and on October 15, 1982 the jury entered a verdict for the plaintiff, Raye Corporation, against East Coast Salvage for $3,411.35...
