Abelino Rodriguez, an Arizona prisoner, appeals pro se the district court's denial of his petition for a writ of habeas corpus under 28 U.S.C. § 2254 (1982). Rodriguez pleaded guilty in 1971 to second-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon not a gun. The state court sentenced him and each of his two codefendants to a term of forty-five to seventy-five years for the murder and to a concurrent term of five to ten years for the assault. After...
