By warranty deed executed May 4, 1979, Jesse W. Kauffman and Rose Kauffman conveyed to Albert J. Wyma and Grace D. Wyma, husband and wife, for a price of $55,000, certain real estate in Hickory County on which, so the Wymas believed, the Pomme de Terre Motel, a one-building inn, was situated. The land lies south of Highway 54, just east of the Pomme de Terre River near Hermitage. The Wymas paid the Kauffmans $25,000 cash and executed a promissory note...
