Merriweather appeals his conviction on several counts of bank robbery and illegal possession of a firearm. He contends, inter alia, that the police secured evidence supporting a search warrant by an illegal arrest of Merriweather's associate, and that the money stolen from the bank should have been suppressed because it was initially discovered by an admittedly illegal search.
