OPINION

BUTTS, Justice.

This is an appeal from a conviction for the felony offense of failure to remain at the scene of an accident and render assistance. TEX.REV.CIV.STAT.ANN. art. 6701d § 38(a), (b) (Vernon 1977) and § 40 (Vernon Supp.1985). The jury found appellant guilty and assessed punishment at imprisonment in the penitentiary for two years. We affirm.
