OPINION

ONION, Presiding Judge.

This is an appeal from a conviction for official oppression, a Class A misdemeanor, V.T.C.A., Penal Code, § 39.02. The jury assessed punishment at 180 days in the county jail and at a fine of $1,000.00.

On appeal we are confronted with appellant's initial ground of error that the County Criminal Court at Law No. 1 of Harris County, where the conviction occurred, did not have jurisdiction over the offense charged...
