Respondent was injured by the collapse of the skywalks at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, where, on the evening of July 17, 1981, she was attending a popular tea dance with her husband. Respondent was awarded a verdict of $1,500,000, for which judgment was entered. Her husband, Francis E. Wintz, was awarded $500,000 for his loss of respondent's consortium...
