Plaintiffs, Cirlot Company and Circle Incorporated, supplied manned equipment to Lionel J. Favret Construction Co. Inc. for excavation that Favret was doing under a contract with defendant, landowner Lake Forest, Inc.

Plaintiffs now appeal from the dismissal of their action against the landowner under the Private Works Act, La.R.S. 9:4801 ff. Plaintiffs do not contend that the owner is liable to them in any other way, either by contract...
