On February 17, 1982, the Department of Public Welfare (Department) informed Dr. Hector Brown that he had been erroneously paid $14,673.11 on claims he submitted under the Minnesota Medical Assistance Program. The letter demanded repayment of the money and informed Dr. Brown of his right to demand a contested case hearing on the matter. Dr. Brown requested a contested case hearing.
