OPINION

JORDAN, Justice.

Newell G. Smith appeals from a summary judgment granted by the trial court in favor of The Home Indemnity Company in two separate worker's compensation cases, consolidated for trial. The insurance company had moved for summary judgment alleging that the claims were filed after six months from the alleged date of injury without good cause for late filing, and Smith had made a voluntary, knowing and intelligent election of remedies...
