JORDAN, Justice.

Appellee, at all pertinent times a resident of the State of New York, brought this action against appellant, a resident of Tarrant County, Texas, to establish the parent-child relationship between her son, now five years old, and appellant. This suit also asks for conservatorship and for support for the child. Appellant's plea to the jurisdiction of the court was overruled and the case was tried to the court without a jury.
