This case comes before us on appeal from a judgment of conviction finding the defendant guilty of four counts charging him with (1) assault with intent to rob, (2) assault with intent to murder, (3) assault with a dangerous weapon, and (4) carrying a pistol without a license. Count 5 of the indictment resulted in a judgment of acquittal by the trial justice and count 6 was severed prior to trial. Thus, we are concerned only with...
