On April 13, 1984, James Yoch was killed in a train collision near Wiggins, Colorado. Plaintiff Clara Yoch, James Yoch's widow, filed this action against the defendant Burlington Northern Railroad pursuant to the Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA), 45 U.S.C. § 51 et seq.
