Defendant was found guilty by a district court jury of two counts of making a terroristic threat, Minn.Stat. § 609.713, subd. 1 (1984).1 The trial court sentenced defendant to concurrent prison terms of 1 year and 1 day and 15 months, but stayed execution of the sentences and placed him on probation.
